A Shared Vision for Lake Superior: Critical pollutants affect the lake. Children are most at risk from toxic pollutants, which build up in fish and other aquatic life. Toxins can travel in the atmosphere from distance sources, but they can also come from our backyards.

Even though Lake Superior is very clean, toxic pollutants that persist in the environment and build up in the food chain threaten it.
