The Landowner Assessment and Project Evaluation Program
Since 1990, University of Wisconsin - Cooperative Extension has worked with a variety of water quality professionals to better understand the people they serve. The special educational program unit within the Environmental Resource Center (ERC), UW-Madison, was created to help water quality programs better address audience needs through targeted educational strategies. This program also stresses the importance of sound evaluation techniques that can be used to meet challenges in accomplishment reporting and accountability.
In addition, the LOAPE program provides evaluation support for UW-Extension, Wisconsin Basin Educators, GMU Teams and a statewide nutrient management planning initiative.
