THE LANDOWNER ASSESSMENT & PROJECT EVALUATION (LOAPE) PROGRAM

UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-EXTENSION COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE AND LIFE SCIENCES, UW-MADISON

For Wisconsin, the LOAPE effort works extensively with agricultural producers, primarily dairy farmers; however, resource issues have broadened the approach to other potential audiences. Presently, standardized surveys are available for:

 

  • dairy farmers

  • irrigated agriculture

  • speciality crop production (i.e., mint and ginseng)

  • rural, non-farm residents

  • lake property owners

  • urban residents
