Langlade County Area Nutrient Management Incentive Project

Project Summary:

 

Our goal with this nutrient management education program is to work with a select group of dairy farmers and vegetable growers to obtain maximum nutrient management utilization. This project would offer cash incentives to farmers of $300 per participating farmer plus $1 per acre to complete a nutrient management plan. This project would team with SWRM funding from DATCP in the years 2001 and 2002 if the SWRM grants were approved.
