Awareness and Development of Nutrient Management Plans

Project Summary:

There is a continuing need in Langlade County for additional awareness and training for livestock farmers and vegetable producers in the area of nutrient management. Our goal is to work with a group of dairy and vegetable growers to obtain maximum nutrient management and utilization. This project will offer cash incentives for farmers of $300 per participating farm operation and $1 per acre to complete a nutrient management plan.
