Project Summary: |
This project will deliver nutrient management planning education and monitoring over a 2 year period to 30 Sauk County area farmers. One course, Nutrient Management Planning I (NMPI), will present the curriculum as outlined in the grant requirements. A second course, Nutrient Management Planning II (NMPII), will be offered to farmers completing NMPI. NMPII will allow the project managers to assist development and monitor farmer-generated nutrient management plans in the farmers "second" cropping year following initial training. |
