Minding Your N,P,K - Whole Farm Nutrient Management

Project Summary:

The goal of this project is to empower farmers with the knowledge needed to understand, develop and implement their own nutrient management plans.  Training will be provided for 12-15 farmers per year using the UW-Extension Nutrient Management Farmer Education Program Curriculum as a framework.  LCD staff will also develop and host a workshop to address the significance of the soil quality indicators (pH, organic matter, micronutrients, etc.) present on the soil test report.
