Environmental Resources Center

ERC promotes informed decision-making on water and natural resource issues in Wisconsin and nationwide by working in partnership with individuals, community leaders, and resource professionals.

Center for Land Use Education

CLUE creates learning opportunities for communities to help them make sound land use decisions that result in a sustainable Wisconsin.

Center for Watershed Science and Education

The center supports watershed stewardship; assists citizens with lake, river and drinking water problems; and provides water quality assessments.

Conservation Professional Training Program

The Great Lakes Regional Conservation Professional Development and Training Program offers education and training programs on various aspects of on-farm conservation.

Discovery Farms Program

The program uses on-the-ground research to determine the environmental impacts of diverse farming systems in Wisconsin, and works with farmers to mitigate the impacts while ensuring economic viability.

Great Lakes Regional Programs

The program builds on the strengths of the Extension Water Programs at Land Grant Universities to improve water resources management through education and research-based extension programming.

Multi-Agency Land and Water Educational Grants program

MALWEG helps integrate educational programming and local land and water conservation efforts through annual grants.

Solid and Hazardous Waste Education Center (SHWEC)


Wisconsin Lakes Partnership

The Wisconsin Lakes Partnership is a statewide collaboration of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR), the University of Wisconsin-Extension (UWEX) and the Wisconsin Association of Lakes (WAL). Lake organizations, property owners, and local governments provide the political will and hard work to accomplish watershed restoration and lake protection goals.
