PART II: Resources within (and values of) your woodland

This part of the Managing Your Woodland section provides a wide range of information on the different resources within your woodlot. From wildlife habitat to forest vegetation, these pages will provide you with useful information about the property you own. The first set of topics, covers Wildlife Habitat. There you will find information on threatened and endangered species as well as how to safeguard habitat while harvesting timber. Next, you can learn about Forest Vegetation and how trees grow. Included in this section you will find information on soil quality and forest products. Another section details some of the Aesthetic aspects to think about when managing your woodland. Recreational uses on your woodlot is also covered; there you will find information on landowner liability. Lastly, you can also find information on Water Resources and how to protect them within your woodland.
