The first section of Part 3, Information on Foresters, provides information on foresters--from why to use one to how to pick one out. The next section, How to Conduct a Timber Sale , provides information on surveying the sale and how to determine how much wood volume will be cut, along with the types of sales available and permits needed. The next section, Choosing a Logger, details what to look for when choosing a logger--training, education and proof of insurance are all things to consider. In the section on Estate Planning you can learn about conservation easements and land trusts. And lastly, in the Wisconsin Forest Tax Laws section learn about state laws that can reduce your property taxes and where you can get help with federal tax laws.
